(MPI) - On December 17, 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Official Dispatch No. 10385/BKHĐT-KTCNDV to the Central Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" reporting on the implementation results of Plan 885/KH-MTTW-BCĐTWCVD dated May 7, 2024 of the Central Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".

Accordingly, the Ministry of Planning and Investment regularly disseminates and propagates the Campaign to civil servants and public employees under the Ministry, promoting the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, especially leaders in consuming Vietnamese products, goods and services, thereby further raising the awareness of civil servants and public employees about the meaning and importance of prioritizing the consumption of Vietnamese products, goods and services in the country's socio-economic development.
Units under the Ministry, within the scope of their assigned functions and tasks, regularly carry out information and propaganda work on the Campaign with activities such as posting news articles to widely propagate. Through specialized meetings to regularly propagate and disseminate. Coordinate with foreign business associations to integrate content on improving the quality and competitiveness of products, goods and services, implementing commitments to protect consumers, building national brands through conferences, seminars, forums, meetings and working with investors and foreign-invested enterprises. Develop, review, amend, supplement, and perfect policies and laws, creating a favorable legal corridor to support domestic enterprises such as advising competent authorities to issue Decree No. 113/2024/ND-CP dated September 12, 2024 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Cooperatives. Preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches, and localities to implement cooperative support contents in the Decisions approved by the Prime Minister to concentrate resources, support cooperatives to promote production, improve the quality of products and goods serving society, contribute to promoting domestic product consumption, building national brands...
Encourage and guide domestic enterprises to increase the use of domestically produced materials and goods in bidding for development investment projects and regular procurement activities using the state budget, in accordance with international commitments and Vietnamese laws.
Continue to promote administrative procedure reform such as reviewing and issuing Decision No. 2544/QD-BKHĐT dated November 4, 2024 on the plan to simplify administrative procedures in the field of supporting small and medium enterprises and the field of investment by public-private partnership. Continue to review and develop a plan to simplify administrative procedures related to the establishment and operation of business households... In addition, in 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has been implementing a number of activities towards promoting administrative procedure reform in the field of business start-up; continue to deploy the application of business household registration, connecting business registration and tax registration; promote connection and data sharing between the national database on population and the national database on business registration.
Regarding the 2025 task orientation, the Ministry of Planning and Investment continues to implement the tasks in Decision No. 1500/QD-BKHDT dated October 29, 2021 of the Minister of Planning and Investment promulgating the Ministry's Action Program on strengthening the implementation of the Campaign in the new situation. Regarding the tasks of the Member of the Central Steering Committee of the Campaign, the Ministry continues to perform the assigned tasks, including inspecting and reporting on the implementation of the Campaign in the assigned provinces./.
