At around 5pm on March 6, billionaire Bill Gates's group visited Ban Co Peak in Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang City. Accompanying the billionaire were his girlfriend and a Vietnamese tea artisan.
Here, the staff had prepared a small table and chairs. The billionaire sat drinking tea, chatting with the artisans, watching Da Nang City at sunset and the lights at the Ong Tien chessboard area. The billionaire's group stayed here for more than an hour, from 5:00 p.m. to about 6:15 p.m. before leaving.

BNN Breaking reported that Bill Gates began his personal journey to Vietnam on March 4. This is his first return to Vietnam in nearly two decades.

The trip comes after the billionaire attended a pre-wedding party for Asia's richest man, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, in India.
According to BNN Breaking, the billionaire will spend about 5 days in Da Nang and Hoi An, staying at a luxurious 5-star resort in Son Tra district (Da Nang).
Son Tra Peninsula is the green lung of Da Nang, Ban Co Peak is considered the roof of the peninsula. Standing here, you can see the whole city and the vast ocean. On the top, there is a statue of the old man De Thich sitting and contemplating in front of a chessboard.
Bill Gates (born 1955) is the co-founder of Microsoft Corporation. He is always on the list of the richest people in the world. He is considered one of the pioneers of the computer revolution in the 1970s and 1980s.
This is the second time Mr. Bill Gates has come to Vietnam. The first time billionaire Bill Gates came to Vietnam was in 2006, on a business trip and to arrange some business deals in the field of information technology.
He also visited Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province and experienced the local customs there.
