Administrative procedures (AP) performed on PPS are connected to serve people, from birth registration, death registration, passports, marriage registration to paying traffic violation fees... Connecting these procedures brings many conveniences to people and businesses.

Ms. Pham Thi Huong in Tan Hung Ward, Thot Not District, said: “I have just completed the procedure for confirming my marital status online. All procedures were notified by phone. I find the procedure for handling administrative procedures shortened and very convenient”. According to Mr. Tran Quoc Qui, a civil servant of the Justice - Civil Status Department of Tan Hung Ward People's Committee, in the 4.0 era, people need to change their habits in performing administrative procedures. Instead of bringing all the documents at the same time to do the procedures directly, think about doing the procedures online via smartphone or computer. This is both simple and saves time for each person as well as state agencies.
The administrative procedures performed on DVCTT have created many conveniences, so more and more people and businesses participate instead of transacting directly. Mr. Bui Huu Nhon in Thoi An ward, O Mon district, has just completed the personal income tax refund procedure. Mr. Nhon said: “Previously, I performed the personal income tax refund procedure directly, which took time and effort to travel. This year, I was guided by tax officials to perform the online procedure. Thanks to that, I performed the operations proficiently, completed the procedure quickly and conveniently. I have also instructed many people to do it together.”
Using public administrative services has created an interconnected, public and transparent administrative environment. Currently, the national and specialized database system continues to be supplemented, improved, and interconnected, sharing increased, bringing practical benefits to people and businesses, limiting the situation of multiple declarations and information provision. With interconnected public administrative services, administrative procedures are simplified and convenient for people. At the same time, state management agencies reduce costs of copying and printing documents, reduce time for circulating documents; overcome the situation of incorrect information, falsified documents and improve service quality...
In Can Tho City, in the first 6 months of 2023, the city implemented 42/68 tasks of the administrative reform plan, reaching 61.76%; the remaining tasks and activities are being implemented from now until the end of the year to ensure the set progress. The city continues to promote online payment of fees/charges and taxes on the National Public Service Portal. During the period, there were 12,498 successful online payment transactions, an increase of more than 16 times over the same period in 2022. Agencies, units and localities continue to promote the digitization of administrative procedure settlement records, the digitization rate of settlement results records in the area reached 28.89%. In 2022, the city's Provincial Digital Transformation Index was ranked 5/63 provinces and cities, up 10 places compared to 2021.
At the online conference of the 5th session to review administrative reform work in the first 6 months of 2023, discussing directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2023, organized by the Government's Steering Committee for Administrative Reform, Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee, said: The city will continue to promote the review of all administrative procedures, propose plans to reduce paperwork, records, shorten time and coordination process for handling procedures to ensure shortening the time for handling administrative procedures. Timely announce, publicize and update administrative procedures on the National Public Service Portal, the websites of agencies, units and at the places where records are received and handled. At the same time, organize the handling of administrative procedures for people and organizations, aiming to reduce the rate of overdue records, reduce travel time and improve the satisfaction of people and organizations. Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in state administrative agencies' operations and serve people and businesses; deploy the provision of public services and online payments to facilitate people and businesses in handling administrative procedures...
