The Vietnam - Korea Business Forum is one of the activities held on the occasion of the State visit of Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife to Vietnam from June 22 to 24 at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong.

Currently, Korea is one of Vietnam's leading important partners, ranking first in foreign direct investment (FDI), second in official development assistance (ODA) and third in trade. In 2022, bilateral trade turnover reached 87 billion USD, an increase of 11.4% compared to 2021. In the first quarter of 2023, trade turnover between Vietnam and Korea reached 18.1 billion USD.

To date, most provinces, cities and localities of Vietnam have signed cooperation agreements with many localities, organizations, Korean enterprises and investors from the land of kimchi are also present in 59 localities of Vietnam.
