According to the Organizing Committee of the exercise, implementing the Directive of the Minister of National Defense, after more than 1 month of preparation, with the attention, direction and guidance of the Steering Committee and functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense; with the proactive spirit in leadership and direction of the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units; the close coordination of the forces, the sense of responsibility, the spirit of trying to overcome all difficulties of the officers and soldiers of the units, the tactical exercise with live ammunition of the 12th Corps took place according to plan, achieved the set goals and requirements and ensured absolute safety.

This is the first live-fire exercise after the establishment of the 12th Corps with the coordination of the military branches and services. Through the exercise, the results of research, manufacturing, production, and improvement of weapons and equipment of the Defense Industry will be reported to equip combat units; leadership and direction will be given to improve the quality of training, combat readiness, mastery of weapons, equipment, techniques, especially new weapons and equipment; at the same time, improve the capacity, level of command organization, coordination and cooperation of the forces participating in the exercise, meeting the requirements of assigned tasks, building the 12th Corps, worthy of being the main, strategic mobile Corps of the Vietnam People's Army, organized in the direction of "skillful, compact, strong".

Based on the characteristics and requirements of the exercise, the Steering Committee promptly directed the Corps to determine the appropriate content and method of organizing the exercise, build a system of documents to direct and manage the exercise with good quality, ensure the smooth combination of theoretical principles of combat, build exercise situations suitable to reality; organize the exercise in a direct form, combine explanation, information and online television.

The forces participating in the exercise, directly the 12th Corps, thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the direction of the Exercise Steering Committee and the guidance of the competent authorities; actively encouraged and built a spirit of good solidarity and high responsibility for officers and soldiers; organized training on the contents and categories of the exercise close to reality; fully prepared weapons, equipment, and exercise components according to regulations; during the exercise, grasped the theory, flexibly and creatively applied it to the performance of tasks in each assigned position and responsibility, promoted the spirit of independence in the military artistic thinking ability of the commanders and agencies in organizing and practicing combat, promptly adjusted the determination and combat plan close to the requirements and tasks according to the exercise scenario; organized command and operated live ammunition closely, close to the actual situation, in the correct order of combat stages, achieved high results, and ensured absolute safety.

Speaking at the exercise, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the officers and soldiers of the 12th Corps and the participating forces for excellently completing the contents of the exercise, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons, with the special feature being the joint combat of many main forces from many directions, many areas and the use of many weapons and equipment improved or produced by Vietnam. This is also a testament to the maturity, growth, and comprehensiveness of all aspects of the Heroic Vietnamese Army and the support of the people, the army and the people are like "fish and water".

The Prime Minister emphasized that, based on the situation and new requirements, the newly established 12th Corps has overcome all difficulties, stabilized its organization, and always excellently completed all assigned tasks, deserving to be the strategic mobile main Corps of the Ministry of National Defense, organized in the direction of "refined, compact, strong", and advancing towards modernization.

Analyzing the current situation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the forces to continue implementing resolutions, strategies, and directions of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on military and national defense.
The Prime Minister requested to improve the quality of training, combat readiness, close to the target of combat, suitable for weapons and equipment; identify drills and training as central and regular tasks; strengthen research and application of science and technology, modern technical means; improve the ability to coordinate operations of troops and services in the modern war environment. The Head of Government noted that it is necessary to do a good job of political and ideological education, raise awareness of responsibility, will, determination to fight and win for cadres and soldiers, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; be ready to receive and complete tasks well in all situations. On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023) and the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2023), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wished the officers and soldiers of the 12th Corps and the forces participating in the exercise in particular and the Heroic Vietnam Army in general the best wishes; wishing the Vietnam People's Army to promote and enhance the image and glorious tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the fighting army, the working army, the production labor army; to become stronger and stronger; always be a solid and reliable support of the Party, the State and the people.
