Climbing with bare hands and feet

Accordingly, the group of people wore normal clothes, without professional climbing tools and protective gear, but climbed to the top of Hon Chuong mountain (tens of meters high) with only their bare hands and a rope.
Notably, in the video, there are many people wearing tank tops, barefoot, swinging on ropes hanging from the rock crevices and the top of Hon Chuong, then gradually climbing up the steep cliff.
After climbing to the top of Hon Chuong mountain, the group took pictures and posted them on social media.
These images and videos immediately spread and attracted great attention and concern from the online community.
"Watching the video made my heart skip a beat"
According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Quang - Chairman of Cat Tai Commune People's Committee, to reach Hon Chuong mountain, you have to ride a motorbike from outside for hours, then walk for about 2 hours to get there. This place is deserted, no one lives there.
"I watched the video on social media and I know that the leader of this climbing group is a local named H. They formed a group to climb the mountain together. This is a very dangerous act. The commune will organize a meeting with Mr. H. to rectify the situation and prevent such incidents from happening again," said Mr. Quang.

According to Mr. Quang, people and tourists can visit Hon Chuong mountain with the guidance of local people. However, they are not allowed to arbitrarily organize mountain climbing, conquer the mountain peak, go to the ancient Cham tower on the mountain peak to take relic bricks home...
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Chairman of Phu Cat District People's Committee - said that so far, only people doing survey and research work have entered Hon Chuong mountain area. There has been no mountain climbing as the group of people just posted on Facebook. The district will work with the commune and related people on this matter.
"Watching this group of people climb the mountain was so dangerous. I was shocked. We do not encourage such risky climbing at Hon Chuong Mountain," said Mr. Hung.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of May 12, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee - said that the province will direct localities and relevant agencies to immediately verify and rectify the above incident.
"We cannot let such things happen because they risk negatively affecting the safety, human lives and image of Binh Dinh," said Mr. Tuan.
Ancient Cham Tower on Hon Chuong Mountain
According to the research book "Hoai Nhon, Qui Nhon, Qui Ninh, Binh Dinh - land and people" by researcher Nguyen Thanh Quang, Hon Chuong Cham tower was built on top of Ba mountain (Hon Chuong mountain) at an altitude of 727m, about 50km north of Quy Nhon city.
The Hon Chuong Tower was built on a giant, bare, bell-shaped rock block, about 49m high. The base of the tower has a 4m long side, the tower door opens to the east, the remaining three sides are closed, without fake doors like other Cham towers.
Currently, the tower's top has collapsed, the body is only about 5m high, has no edges, no decorations, no carvings... Researchers still do not know how the Cham people transported materials to build Hon Chuong tower in the past.
