Under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the results of supervising the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

There were 18 comments from delegates during the discussion session. The delegates basically agreed with the content of the Report on the results of monitoring the settlement and response to voters' petitions sent to the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly by the National Assembly Standing Committee; highly appreciated that in the recent past, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Petition Committee have paid great attention to urging and supervising the settlement of voters' petitions. In addition, the delegates focused on discussing: difficulties and obstacles in mineral planning, credit, gold trading; policies to support high school students in ethnic minority areas and extremely disadvantaged areas; policies on forest protection and conservation; policies to support housing for people with revolutionary contributions in the period of 2021-2025; solutions to online fraud; promulgation of standards in environmental impact assessment for aquaculture areas; compensation and support in the safety corridor of wind power projects; solutions to overcome shortcomings in advance purchases of equipment, supplies, and medical biological products after the COVID-19 pandemic; policies for poor households; the situation of compulsory social insurance collection for individual business owners; shortcomings and limitations in compensation and resettlement of some projects...
Delegates suggested that it is necessary to continue to improve regulations on methods and scope of supervision of the National Assembly and People's Councils in handling voters' petitions; it is necessary to issue specialized resolutions after the National Assembly discusses voters' petitions at the session, resolutions guiding the work of the National Assembly and People's Councils on people's petitions; deploy the construction of an interconnected database system in handling voters' petitions; review voters' petitions that have been raised many times but have not been resolved; ministries and branches need to improve the quality and progress of responding to voters' petitions.
During the National Assembly's discussion, the Ministers of Natural Resources and Environment; Agriculture and Rural Development; Industry and Trade; Education and Training; Health; Information and Communications; Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; Head of the Petition Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee received and clarified a number of issues of concern to National Assembly deputies.
