The match with U.23 Jordan is part of U.23 Vietnam's preparation plan before the 2024 U.23 Asian Cup finals. Therefore, coach Hoang Anh Tuan has agreed with the team's coaching staff not to limit the number of replacement players.
However, in order not to affect the professionalism, each team will use no more than 3 substitutions during the match. In addition, if the match ends in a draw, the two teams will organize a penalty shootout to further train the players' mentality and courage when standing in front of the 11m mark.
Because the match date is still within the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, the match between U.23 Vietnam and U.23 Jordan will kick off at 9:00 p.m. local time (1:00 a.m. April 11, Vietnam time).
U.23 Vietnam had 2 training sessions in Doha (Qatar) to continue practicing tactics in preparation for the Group D matches of the 2024 AFC U.23 Championship finals.
