Piloting the re-issuance of VssID application password via switchboard

BTO-Vietnam Social Insurance (VSS) has just announced: Piloting the integration of virtual assistants into the customer care switchboard of Vietnam Social Insurance - 1900.9068 to support people in re-issuing VssID account passwords.

Accordingly, through the virtual assistant on the switchboard 1900.9068 to reset the password, users can do the following steps.

Step 1, use the phone number registered for the VssID account to call the switchboard 1900.9068, press number 8 to select the function to reset the VssID password and follow the instructions.

Step 2, the virtual assistant asks to provide the social security number that needs to retrieve the password. After providing the social security number, the system will check the calling phone number and the social security number. If it matches the data managed by Vietnam Social Security, the virtual assistant will read the new password to the user, reminding them once to remember. If it does not match, the virtual assistant will notify "the phone number and social security number do not match or have not been registered with the social security agency". And step 3 is to end the call.

The fee for calling hotline 1900.9068 is 1,000 VND/minute, paid to the hotline service provider.

Thus, VssID users can now reset their passwords in two ways.

Method 1, use the forgot password function on the VssID application or the forgot password function on the website https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn (this method requires the VssID account to have email address information). In case when registering for an electronic social insurance transaction account, people do not have email address information, people can add an email address through the following channels. That is, make a declaration form TK1-TS to declare additional email information through the electronic social insurance transaction of the unit or service organization that is managing it. Make a declaration form to change and supplement information to register to use electronic transaction methods in the social insurance field according to form No. 02/SD-GD, and submit it directly to the nearest social insurance agency.

Method 2, reset password via virtual assistant on switchboard 1900.9068 (extension 8).

With the above pilot implementation, Vietnam Social Security hopes to provide many features and utilities for people when participating in transactions with the Social Security agency. This contributes to building a modern and professional Vietnam Social Security industry, for the satisfaction of organizations and individuals.
