Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam said he has just put on stage the Vietnamese historical play "Beauties and Heroes" (author: Chu Thom; art direction: People's Artist Tran Ngoc Giau).
"Beauties and Heroes" is about historical figures Ly Chieu Hoang, Tran Canh and Tran Thu Do.

The play features the following actors: Ta Lam (as Ly Chieu Hoang), Hoa Thuan (Tran Canh), Huynh Lam Khoi (Tran Thu Do), Cao Thuy Vy (Tran Thi Dung), Ngoc Phuong Cham (Thuan Thien), Meritorious Artist Bao Tri (old historian), Phuc Zelo (young historian), Cong Hau (Le Phu Tran), Thanh Huy (evil minister), Pham Bao Khang (young Tran Canh), Huynh Chi Han (young Ly Chieu Hoang)...
The play will premiere at Tran Huu Trang Theater (HCMC) on April 13.
