Civil Affairs Month in Kha Cuu

In 2024, Thanh Son district selected Kha Cuu commune to implement the mass mobilization program. This is the second time Kha Cuu commune has been selected to implement this program. With the contribution of all levels, sectors, and units in the district, the local Party Committee and government have "skillfully mobilized the masses" to mobilize the people, joining hands to create a new look in Kha Cuu.

Thanks to the implementation of the Civil Affairs Month, the rural traffic route in Buong area is gradually being completed, helping people travel conveniently.

Chairman of Kha Cuu Commune People's Committee Bui Ngoc Ha said: To implement the plans and programs of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee on implementing the mass mobilization program of the entire political system in the district, we have held meetings, developed plans, assigned specific tasks to each organization and individual, and mobilized the participation of the people to effectively carry out mass mobilization work. We strive to complete the tasks according to plan by October 30.

In the 2024 mass mobilization program, the cultural houses in Ngan and Cau Chua areas will be newly built, and the cultural houses in Buong area will be repaired; houses will be built and repaired for 7 households with especially difficult circumstances in Mang Chang area, Ngan area, Sinh Duoi area, Cau Chua area, Ham area, and Chuoi area. For 2 poor households that are unable to contribute to build houses, the commune leaders are assigned to directly monitor, urge, mobilize, and socialize additional resources to help poor households have a house that is closed above and durable below.

Head of Ngan area Ha Van Khoa said: Realizing that the mass mobilization program is important to Kha Cuu commune in general and Ngan area in particular, we have mobilized people in the area to contribute working days and more than 300 million VND to build a new cultural house, make a campus, purchase equipment for community activities, and mobilize people to participate in many other parts of the program, which has received positive responses from everyone.

Not only building cultural houses and great solidarity houses, 1,850m of traffic roads in Ham, Buong and Lan areas were also implemented with the contributions of the people of the areas and the militia forces of Thuong Cuu, Dong Cuu and Kha Cuu communes. The contributions of the people and the forces of the commune and district helped the previously dusty and muddy roads to be concreted cleanly and beautifully. The completed concrete roads help people travel conveniently, especially students go to school more safely and easily.

In addition, the district's departments, branches, sectors, and socio-political organizations coordinate to open training courses to improve knowledge about population and reproductive health care; disseminate information on flood and landslide prevention and control during the rainy and stormy season, knowledge of fire prevention and fighting, and safe, economical, and effective use of electricity; organize medical examinations and treatment, and provide free medicine for policy beneficiaries, poor households, and public environmental sanitation; train and guide farmers on scientific and technical knowledge, mobilize people to change their farming practices, actively transform crop and livestock structures, and guide people to build a number of economic development models suitable to local conditions.

With the participation of the entire political system and the enthusiastic contributions of the people in the commune, up to now, nearly 80% of the work has been completed. People in residential areas have met to discuss and agree on the level of contribution and specific tasks, thereby creating consensus and actively participating in the implementation of the mass mobilization program. The close coordination between the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the district to the grassroots with agencies, units, and the armed forces in building infrastructure, helping people develop the economy, and reduce poverty has contributed to improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, strengthening the bond between the Party Committee, the local government and the people, making the appearance of Kha Cuu more prosperous.
