Spreading noble deeds for the community

Today, April 7th, is the national voluntary blood donation day. This is an opportunity to promote and raise awareness of the purpose and meaning of blood donation to save lives, one of the most practical and meaningful activities. In Ha Tinh in recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement has spread strongly among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, affirming the message "each drop of blood given - a life remains".

Ms. Tran Thi Tuyen shares a touching story after 30 times of voluntary blood donation.

“Happiness because I can give, sow the seeds of life” are the words shared by Ms. Tran Thi Tuyen, in Thach Thang commune, Ha Tinh city, when sharing about her blood donation. Born in 1986, Ms. Tuyen has donated blood 30 times since she was a student to help patients. There were days when she had to donate blood twice, but she did not hesitate.

From typical examples, the voluntary blood donation movement has become a beautiful feature of many agencies and units. For example, at Thu Hau Secondary School, Ich Hau Commune, Thach Ha District, every year the school has 10-15 teachers registering to donate blood. Among them, there are many people who have donated blood more than 20 times.

The voluntary blood donation movement spreads strongly in schools and agencies in Ha Tinh.

Not only stopping at a few individuals or a few groups, in recent years, the voluntary blood donation movement has created a strong spread. Currently, the whole province has 23 Live Blood Bank clubs with more than 1,000 members participating. Every year, large voluntary blood donation campaigns, events, and programs such as: Spring Festival, Red Sunday, Red Journey... always attract enthusiastic response and participation of a large number of cadres, party members and people from all walks of life.

Many officials, teachers and people of Ha Tinh participated in the voluntary blood donation festival on April 7.

With the message “Every drop of blood given - a life saved”, the voluntary blood donation movement not only plays an important role in helping patients but also contributes greatly to the work of propagating and educating human ethics, building a united society, living in sharing, and being responsible to the community./.
