Dong Ngac village was established at the end of the Tran Dynasty, around 1346 to 1370. Before being renamed "Dong Ngac" in the Later Le Dynasty, this peaceful village was originally called Ke Ve. Therefore, the folk often circulated the saying "Ke Gian land, Ke Ve mandarin |
The origin of this saying is because Ve village had many mandarins. From the Tran dynasty to the Nguyen dynasty, in about 500 years, Dong Ngac village produced 22 doctors, second-year doctors, and vice- doctors and over 400 bachelors and bachelors. According to the feudal court's regulations, any village with 10 or more people passing the doctoral exam was considered a mandarin village. |
