De Heus Group (Netherlands) has just announced a new personnel change, according to which Mr. Gabor Fluit, General Director of De Heus Asia, will be officially appointed to the position of General Director of Royal De Heus Group from January 1, 2025.
Mr. Gabor joined De Heus in 2008, and together with his dedicated team, has successfully built De Heus' operations in Vietnam.

In the following years, he played a key role in expanding and consolidating De Heus' strong position in Asia, notably in Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and India. In 2021, he played a key role in the acquisition of Masan's animal feed business (including Proconco and Anco), which has now been successfully integrated into De Heus Vietnam.
Thanks to his talented leadership style, deep understanding of business and cultural diversity, Mr. Gabor was trusted by the De Heus family to lead De Heus to sustainable development globally.
It is expected that in mid-2024, Mr. Gabor and his family will return to the Netherlands to assume the role of General Director of the Group from January 2025.
Mr. Gabor joined De Heus in 2008, and together with his dedicated team, has successfully built De Heus' operations in Vietnam.
The De Heus Vietnam leadership team under the leadership of Mr. Johan van den Ban remains strong. Mr. Johan joined De Heus in 2013 and officially held the position of General Director of Vietnam since 2020. With a keen business background and a close understanding of Vietnamese culture, Mr. Johan and the leadership team have led De Heus Vietnam through an important development stage, especially during the process of merging Masan's animal feed business.
In addition to his current role, Johan will be appointed General Manager for Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and India. He will report directly to the new Group CEO, Gabor Fluit, and will continue to reside in Vietnam with his family. The business unit directors for Myanmar, Cambodia and India will report to Johan in this new role.
