Tang Duy Tan wins big at the "Green Wave 2023" awards ceremony

The 26th "Green Wave 2023" awards ceremony took place on the evening of January 24 at Hoa Binh Theater (HCMC), with many explosive performances from the top "hot hit" artists of the Vietnamese music market.

In the Top 10 Most Favorite Songs category, despite winning a double with "Turn On Love" and "Cut Away Sorrow", Tang Duy Tan - who just won the 2023 Mai Vang Award in the "Most Favorite Song" category of the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper - scored points when he humbly gave up his speaking part to the co-composer of the song "Turn On Love" Hieu Bae as well as producer Drum7.

On stage to receive the award for "Male/Female Singer of the Year", Tang Duy Tan once again surprised everyone by becoming the owner of this award. Rapper Den was once again mentioned when Tang Duy Tang said that he was ashamed to be on the same nomination list with Den and win in this category.

Tang Duy Tan affirmed that the reason he was able to go through a long period of difficulty to be able to stay with music was thanks to Den, because Den was the first person to compliment him on his good compositions. Because of that, Tang Duy Tan always felt grateful to Den and this was a good opportunity for him to express his gratitude.

If on the male side, Tang Duy Tan "collected" many important awards, on the female side, no one else but Van Mai Huong. The success of the album "Minh tinh" brought a resounding victory to the female singer at this 26th Awards Ceremony.

Van Mai Huong also won 4 awards, including: "Top 10 Most Favorite Songs", "Song of the Year" and "Excellent Collaboration" (all thanks to the success of "June Rain") and "Female Singer of the Year".

In addition, Grey D also won the award for "Favorite Song on Radio" (Take Me Home) with Chillies.

Similar to Grey D, Trung Quan also won 3 trophies through the song "June Rain", including: "Top 10 Favorite Songs", "Song of the Year" and "Excellent Collaboration".

On the musician side, Hua Kim Tuyen has always been a top hit-maker in recent years, so it's no surprise that he brought home 3 awards thanks to the song "June Rain": Top 10 Most Favorite Songs, Song of the Year and Excellent Collaboration.

Hoa Minzy also won big with 3 awards.

Diva My Linh received the Green Wave Achievement Award. She has made many great contributions to Vietnamese music in general, and has accompanied the award ceremony since its early days.

My Linh shared: "This is no different from a priceless spiritual gift to me. I would like to dedicate this award to musicians Duong Thu, Huy Tuan, Anh Quan and those who have contributed to creating My Linh today."

Also winning in the Top 10 Most Favorite Songs category are: "A Loi" (Double2T, producer Masew), "Sleeping Alone" (HIEUTHUHAI ft Negav), "Le Luu Ly" (Vu Phung Tien, DT Tap Rap, producer Drum7), "June Rain" (musician Hua Kim Tuyen, singer Van Mai Huong ft Grey D, Trung Quan), "Cooking for You" (Den ft Pia Linh) and "Thi Mau" (composed by Nguyen Hoang Phong, singer Hoa Minzy).

At this award ceremony, rapper Den made the audience laugh when he said, "I get bored after finishing a song, so why do audiences still find it good after listening to it over and over again?"

Black is also a prominent name at the award.

Rapper HIEUTHUHAI won the "Favorite Male Singer" award. In his emotional speech, HIEUTHUHAI revealed that he is a fan of rapper Den and thanked him for everything Den has done because it has motivated HIEUTHUHAI to persevere on the path he has chosen.

HIEUTHUHAI also hopes that in the future, the rap music community will develop more strongly so that this music genre will have its own category at Lan Song Xanh.

On the female side, after 10 years of tireless efforts, Hoa Minzy's dedication was finally recognized by everyone with the award "Favorite Female Singer".
