From early morning, thousands of cadres, soldiers, students, women's union members and a large number of people in Bien Hoa city (Dong Nai) were present at Bien Hoa station, eagerly waiting for the parade.
Ms. Ngo Phuong Kim Hang, living in Bien Hoa city, said that when she heard that the parade and marching groups from the North on the occasion of April 30th would arrive at Bien Hoa station, she brought her 5-year-old son to wait for the group. "I am very excited and nervous to welcome the groups participating in the parade and marching group. My child also loves soldiers so I want him to see the images of strong and resilient soldiers," Ms. Kim Hang said.

I also promise and am determined to try my best to study well to continue the tradition of previous generations," said Nguyen Trinh Ngoc Anh, a student at Tam Hiep High School (Dong Nai) who participated in welcoming the delegation.
When the Thong Nhat train arrived at Bien Hoa Station, the atmosphere was more bustling because of the welcome of the Southern people to the cadres and soldiers of the North when they got off the train.
Mr. Le Nguyen Minh Tri, Deputy Head of the Movement Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, said that to welcome 5 delegations from the North to the South to participate in this parade, the province mobilized more than 450 members. The young people participating all wanted to contribute their youth and enthusiasm to join the entire people and army towards the important anniversary, which has historical significance for the nation.
At about 10:15 a.m., the train carrying 630 soldiers from the Air Defense - Air Force, Special Forces, Armored Corps, Military Region 4, Navy... stopped at Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai).
Colonel Bui Dang Ninh, Political Commissar of Dong Nai Province Military Command, said: "The participating forces uphold their sense of responsibility for the spirit of victory day, welcoming the delegations like troops returning to the South to organize a solemn celebration, demonstrating the spirit of 50 years ago."
