Lao Cai ranked 26th in the administrative reform index (PAR INDEX) in 2024.
Although both SIPAS and PARINDEX indexes of Lao Cai in 2024 decreased compared to the ranking results in 2023, it also affirmed the efforts and determination of the province in leading and directing all levels and sectors to organize and implement synchronously in all areas of administrative reform. The Department of Home Affairs (the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for State Administrative Reform) also strengthened inspection and supervision, promoted information and propaganda to raise the sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees, and determined to carry out administrative reform tasks in the area.
