Strengthening management and price stabilization during Tet

The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just sent a document to functional units on strengthening management, operation and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year 2025.

The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 86/UBND-KTTH dated January 7, 2025 to its affiliated functional units including: Bac Giang Provincial Department of Finance, Bac Giang Provincial Tax Department, Bac Giang Provincial State Treasury, Bac Giang Provincial Market Management Department, and Bac Giang Provincial Customs Branch managing industrial parks on strengthening management, operation and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year 2025.

Accordingly, implementing Directive No. 05/CT-BTC dated December 23, 2024 of the Minister of Finance on strengthening management, operation and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year 2025, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Phan The Tuan requested as follows:

Departments and agencies shall synchronously deploy solutions to fully and promptly carry out tasks in management, operation and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year 2025 in Bac Giang province assigned by the Minister of Finance in Directive No. 05/CT-BTC; strictly comply with the information reporting regime before, during and after Tet, send to the Ministry of Finance and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province according to regulations.

Previously, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang signed and issued Directive No. 05/CT-BTC dated December 23, 2024, requesting heads of agencies and units; directors of financial departments, directors of tax departments, directors of state treasuries of provinces and cities... to closely monitor the world's economic - political situation and inflation affecting Vietnam in order to have appropriate response solutions.

Update the situation of supply and demand, domestic market prices to promptly advise on measures to manage, operate and stabilize market prices, especially before, during and after Tet, to avoid unusual fluctuations affecting economic and social life. Strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; strictly control tax declaration, settlement and tax refund.

The Ministry of Finance also requires the financial departments to coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to proactively advise the People's Committees of provinces and cities nationwide to strengthen management, operation and price stabilization in the area. At the same time, there must be plans to regulate and support the reasonable circulation of goods, and propose timely issuance of national reserve goods according to regulations.

Strengthen the organization and implementation of price listing and declaration according to authority. Inspect and examine the compliance with legal regulations on prices, taxes, fees and charges in the area and strictly handle violations according to regulations.
