At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), the price of gold bars was listed at VND98.7 million/tael (buy) and VND100.7 million/tael (sell). This afternoon's gold price increased by VND1.3 million/tael for buying - increased by VND1.8 million/tael for selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
DOJI system listed SJC gold at buying price of 98.7 million VND/tael and selling price of 100.7 million VND/tael. This price increased by 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and 1.8 million VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 98.6 million VND/tael and the selling price is 100.2 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the gold price increased by 100 thousand VND/tael in the buying direction - increased by 500 thousand VND/tael in the selling direction.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold at 98.8 million VND/tael (buy) and 100.7 million VND/tael (sell). This price increased by 1.3 million VND/tael for buying and 1.8 million VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday.

Currently, the world gold price is anchored around 3,076 USD/ounce.
Analysts say the gold rally was driven by concerns about trade tensions and negative developments in the stock market. Notably, on March 27, US President Donald Trump announced that he would impose a 25% tax on imported cars, causing shares of US-listed car companies to plummet and raising concerns about a major shock to the global auto industry.
In addition, according to Phillip Streible, an expert at Blue Line Futures, buying demand from central banks and ETFs is also an important factor pushing up gold prices. Gold continues to be considered a traditional safe haven asset in times of uncertainty and tends to increase in low-interest-rate environments.
| Goldman Sachs recently raised its forecast for gold prices by the end of 2025 from $3,100 to $3,300 an ounce, citing stronger-than-expected demand from central banks and investment funds. |
