The total amount of compensation that the ITA Chairwoman requested is 500 million USD, of which 300 million USD is compensation for her personally.

Ms. Dang Thi Hoang Yen - Chairwoman of Tan Tao Board of Directors has sued 3 individuals and businesses in Vietnam in US court.
ITA paid Duc Hanh Company in accordance with the contract. However, Duc Hanh Company was not accepted for the 4th phase because the construction did not meet technical requirements and was forced to take corrective actions as requested by the supervising consultant. The two sides had many working sessions and ITA also sent many documents requesting Duc Hanh Company to take corrective actions, but the company did not comply.
On November 2, 2020, ITA and the supervising consultant submitted evidence and a counterclaim requesting the People's Court of Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, to force Duc Hanh Company to compensate for the deposit and contract violation fine with a total amount of more than 21 billion VND, equivalent to more than 918,000 USD at that time. Duc Hanh Company violated the construction quality and did not pay compensation for damages to ITA, on the contrary, filed a lawsuit against ITA despite there being no records proving that ITA owed and registered to join the list of creditors at Sen Viet Asset Management Partnership, causing damage to the business operations as well as the reputation and image of the company and Ms. Maya Dangelas - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors...

Specifically, ITA said that after receiving the money and resettlement land, Mr. Duong Van Suong asked to stay to pay respects and celebrate Tet with the commitment to move out later and the ITA leadership agreed to the request. However, after that, he and his family did not hand over the land for more than 20 years, hindering the construction of infrastructure, causing delays in the project and great losses for ITA. On May 18, 2012, Mr. Suong filed a lawsuit against ITA by denying that he had received the money and denying his own handwriting and signature that ITA had forced him to sign a blank paper...
