Who is the new Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee?

Mr. Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, has just been assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the morning of October 26, in Ha Long City, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo's resolution on personnel work.

At the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vu Dai Thang as Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Hung congratulated the new Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and emphasized: Mr. Vu Dai Thang is considered a cadre with capacity, experience, scientific thinking and working methods, democracy, determination, and closeness to the grassroots.

In his assigned positions, Mr. Thang always completed his tasks excellently, making important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the agencies he worked for.

Therefore, with the accumulated experience, the new Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang will join the leadership, people and armed forces in the province to unite and strive to successfully complete the Resolution of the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and doing a good job of preparing for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Provincial Party Committee has remained united, made efforts to overcome and achieved many important results in socio-economic development; continued to maintain high economic growth and is the leading province in economic restructuring; for many consecutive years has been at the forefront of the country in administrative reform, aiming to build an honest and creative government.

Speaking at the conference, the new Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, Vu Dai Thang, affirmed that in his new position, he will work with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to continuously strive to bring Quang Ninh to continue developing, affirming its position in the region and the whole country; worthy of the trust and support of the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh.

In the immediate future, we will urgently implement solutions to overcome and rebuild socio-economic activities severely damaged by storm No. 3; focus on perfecting personnel preparation, improving the quality of documents serving the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and towards the 14th National Party Congress.

In particular, we will focus on building directions and tasks to handle practical issues that have arisen so that Quang Ninh can develop even more strongly.
