On the morning of August 8, in Phu Ly City (Ha Nam), Sun Group Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Sun Urban City Project, with a scale of up to 420 hectares and a total investment of about 35,000 billion VND. The project is expected to contribute to changing the face of Ha Nam city, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Sun Urban City is located in Bac Chau Giang area (Phu Ly city) - the southern gateway of the capital, 50 km from Hanoi with only 45 minutes drive. Sun Urban City is developed according to the suburban resort urban model with 1,001 utilities, where the elderly receive comprehensive health care with nursing homes, specialized hospitals, and large spaces for walking and gathering with peers and children; young people and children can freely immerse themselves in new entertainment experiences...
Sun Urban City owns the central location connecting the "road - rail - air" traffic of Ha Nam. In terms of roads, the project connects with key traffic routes such as National Highway 1A, Phap Van - Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway, Ring Roads 3.5 and 4. In particular, when Phu Thu Interchange on Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway is completed in 2025, connecting with Ring Road 5, the Capital Region in the future, all roads from Hanoi and the Northern provinces will flow to Sun Urban City Ha Nam.
Regarding railways, the North-South Expressway is expected to start construction in 2027 with the strategic stop at Phu Ly Station and passing through the provinces of Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, facilitating trade connections between Ha Nam and key economic zones across the country. Along with that, the second airport of the Capital Region is expected to be invested in and built in Ung Hoa - Phu Xuyen district (Hanoi), only about 15 minutes away from the project location, opening the door to connect Ha Nam in general and the Modern City - Sun Urban City in particular with the whole country and internationally.

This is also the convergence of 3 famous rivers: Chau Giang, Nhue and Day, bringing valuable feng shui value to the project, and is also the center connecting the heritage of the land of "Doi mountain, Chau river" rich in cultural traditions with nearly 2,000 historical and cultural relics.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province, shared that Sun Urban City with a scale of 420 hectares is the largest urban project ever in Ha Nam. When completed and put into operation, it will play a very important role in the development of Ha Nam province.
“The project will create a better living environment for people with synchronous infrastructure and full amenities; change the face of Phu Ly city, contributing to realizing the goal of making Phu Ly a class I urban area by 2030, making Ha Nam a centrally-run city by 2050. At the same time, it will create a driving force to promote, spread, contribute to shifting the economic structure of the province, increase sustainable budget revenue, bring jobs and income to workers...
In addition, with modern and attractive facilities and services, Sun Urban City is expected to become an attractive tourist destination in Ha Nam, contributing to realizing the goal of reaching 10 million tourists by 2030," said Mr. Truong Quoc Huy.

Along with the groundbreaking of the Sun Urban City Project, from now until the end of the year, Sun Group will coordinate with Ha Nam province to organize a series of events of the Ha Nam and Red River Delta Cultural Festival, with many attractive activities such as fireworks displays, grand music festivals, traditional art performances, photo exhibitions, culinary festivals, etc.
