Exciting propaganda activities about sea and islands in high schools

(BTNO) - On the morning of March 24, the Naval Technical College coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Department of Education and Training to organize propaganda about seas and islands and attract Navy human resources at a number of high schools in Tay Ninh province.

Accordingly, at 4 high schools (Tran Dai Nghia, Le Quy Don, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Nguyen Trung Truc), reporters from the Naval Technical College organized propaganda about Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands for nearly 5,000 teachers and students of the schools; at the same time, introduced the Navy and the Naval Technical College, helping students better understand the Vietnam Navy and information related to enrollment, training and benefits when studying at the Naval Academy and the Naval Technical College, thereby having more options when registering for university and college enrollment.

At the propaganda sessions, the Naval Technical College, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Hung Vuong University in Ho Chi Minh City awarded 44 scholarships (VND 1 million/scholarship) to 44 students who overcame difficulties and excelled in 2025 from the 4 high schools mentioned above (Naval Technical College supported 24 scholarships; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department 10 scholarships and Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City 10 scholarships).

Representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Naval Technical College awarded scholarships to students of Nguyen Chi Thanh High School.

It is known that this is a regular annual coordination activity between the Naval Technical College and the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee to concretize the implementation of the Program of coordination in propagating seas and islands between the Navy Party Committee and Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

Previously, on December 13, 2024, the Naval Technical College also visited and supported 80 million VND to build a house of gratitude for a policy family in An Quoi quarter, An Hoa ward, Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province.
