Improving the capacity of land law consultancy for people

(QBĐT) - On March 27, the Legal Consulting Center (Provincial Lawyers Association) organized a conference to provide legal advice on land for people in Duc Ninh Dong ward, Dong Hoi city.

At the conference, people were informed of some provisions of the 2024 Land Law and documents guiding its implementation, including: Land allocation, land lease, land use purpose conversion, issuance of land use right certificates, and ownership of assets attached to land. In addition, people were also updated with many important contents related to planning, land use plans, land recovery, land requisition, compensation, support, resettlement when the State recovers land and legal documents related to the rights and obligations of individuals and communities using land; conditions, procedures, and authority to convert, transfer, lease, sublease, inherit, donate, mortgage, and receive land use rights.

People are also informed about prohibited acts in the land sector and the settlement of disputes, complaints, and lawsuits due to violations of land use rights according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law.

People are informed of new points of the 2024 Land Law.

Previously, the Provincial Bar Association organized legal advice on land for people in communes and wards, including Thuan Duc, Hai Thanh, Phu Hai (Dong Hoi City) and will continue to implement in some areas of Bo Trach district.

It is known that providing legal advice on land for people is one of the contents within the framework of the project "Improving capacity for legal advice on land in the period 2024-2026". The project is sponsored by the Bread for the World Organization of the Federal Republic of Germany, received by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Lawyers Association. Quang Binh is one of 9 provinces nationwide participating in the project.
