Preliminary round of 'Miss Vietnamese Students' in the Southern region

The Miss Vietnam Student Contest 2024 is organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, the Thanh Giong Knowledge Portal, the Vietnam Student Support and Development Center in coordination with Tien Pharmacist Company Limited.

The first preliminary round of the Miss Vietnam Student 2024 contest took place on March 23 in Ho Chi Minh City for contestants in the Southern region.

The contest aims to find and honor the beauty of Vietnamese female students, especially the beauty of intelligence, talent, confidence and dynamism; thereby, contributing to raising awareness of "virtue - intelligence - body - beauty" for young people.

The competition is organized on a national scale, attracting thousands of students interested in the competition.

The contest encourages and motivates students to actively study, practice, participate in social activities, charity activities, have a compassionate heart, tolerance, love their homeland, help the poor and children in difficult circumstances.

With the theme "The Beauty of Intelligence", the Contest is divided into stages: preliminary round, accompanying program with Miss Vietnam students, semi-finals and finals, final ranking and award ceremony.

Through the rounds, the Organizing Committee will select the Miss, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and other secondary awards. The total prize value of the Miss Vietnam Student 2024 contest is up to 1 billion VND.

In addition to the title and prize money, the beauty queen and runner-up will receive 100% support for university tuition and full scholarships for postgraduate study abroad (USA, Korea, Japan). The Top 10 Miss Vietnamese Students will participate in an international summer camp in the UK or Australia for 15 days.

After the preliminary round in Ho Chi Minh City, the preliminary round will take place in the Central region on March 27; the preliminary round in the Northern region on March 30.

In particular, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to schools with crowned beauty queens and runners-up, including: 100 computers, 50 motorbikes, 500 - 1,000 bicycles, specialized bookcases worth 500 million VND and 200 interest-free loans...

After the preliminary round in Ho Chi Minh City, there will be a preliminary round in the Central region (Da Nang City - March 27); and a preliminary round in the Northern region (Hanoi City - March 30).
