SHB Da Nang cannot decide in the final round
Before the decisive match, SHB Da Nang ranked last on the rankings with only 11 points, goal difference -10, ranked above by Ho Chi Minh City Club (14 points, goal difference -11) and B.Binh Duong (14 points, goal difference -4). In the final round, SHB Da Nang will visit Nha Trang to face Khanh Hoa while Ho Chi Minh City Club will host B.Binh Duong at Thong Nhat Stadium. The Han River team only hopes to stay in the league if they win big against Khanh Hoa Club, and wait for the match between Ho Chi Minh City Club and B.Binh Duong to determine the winner (B.Binh Duong wins Ho Chi Minh City or Ho Chi Minh City wins big against Binh Duong).
At Nha Trang Stadium, SHB Da Nang scored an early opening goal in the 17th minute thanks to striker Lucao, a player on loan from Hanoi FC. The efforts of the Han River team continued to be rewarded in the 41st minute, when they doubled the gap with a brilliant performance from Lucao. Although the home team reduced the score to 1-2 at the beginning of the second half, in the 67th minute, Lucao continued to shine to complete his hat-trick, thereby sealing the score at 3-1.
