Provincial Border Guard Party Committee issues leadership resolution for the second quarter of 2025

On April 3, the Khanh Hoa Border Guard Party Committee held a Party Committee Conference to issue a Resolution to lead the implementation of tasks in the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee focused and resolutely led, directed, thoroughly grasped, concretized, and implemented the targets, tasks, and solutions set forth in the 2025 Resolution of the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee; effectively resolved incidents occurring in border areas and sea areas, avoiding passive surprises, achieving some outstanding results such as: Chairing, coordinating the arrest and prosecution of 5 cases/5 subjects illegally storing drugs and 12 other cases of law violations. The work of preventing and combating IUU was resolutely deployed; 705 patrol teams were organized, inspected, controlled, and strictly managed fishing vessels operating at sea, contributing to preventing fishing vessels and fishermen in the province from illegally exploiting seafood in foreign waters. In addition, directing border posts to step up propaganda and coordinate to effectively organize the program "Border Spring warms the hearts of the villagers", thereby presenting more than 2,000 gifts, 1,793 banh chung, 12 tons of rice, 1 charity house with a total cost of 1 billion 640 million VND.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and proposing key tasks in the second quarter. In particular, doing a good job of grasping the situation early, from afar, on land, at sea, especially the situation of public opinion regarding the policy of merging administrative units, streamlining the apparatus; proactively detecting, advising, proposing timely resolution of incidents, avoiding passive surprises; advising and coordinating synchronously and drastically implementing measures to combat IUU fishing; effectively combating illegal activities related to mineral exploitation, drugs, smuggling, and trade fraud; promoting information and propaganda work on border protection tasks and activities of the provincial Border Guard; focusing on all preparations for the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

On the same afternoon, the Provincial Border Guard Command held a meeting on border work in March and deployed tasks for April.
