Postponing the schedule of V-League round 17 and First Division round 13

On April 3, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a special statement stating: To express condolences to comrade Khamtay Siphandone and based on the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front decided to mourn comrade Khamtay Siphandone according to the National Mourning protocol for 2 days, from April 4 to 5, 2025.

During this time, agencies and offices nationwide and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad must fly flags at half-mast and wear mourning bands as prescribed; no public entertainment activities are organized.

For this reason, VPF Company has announced to adjust the match schedule of round 17 of V-League and round 13 of First Division 2024 - 2025 from April 5 to April 6.

Specifically, round 17 of V-League 2024 - 2025 will have 6 matches on April 6, including: Hoang Anh Gia Lai - B.Binh Duong (Pleiku Stadium); Ho Chi Minh City - Song Lam Nghe An (Thong Nhat Stadium); The Cong - Viettel - Quang Nam (My Dinh Stadium); Nam Dinh - Hai Phong (Thien Truong Stadium); Quy Nhon Binh Dinh - Hong Linh Ha Tinh (Quy Nhon Stadium) and Hanoi - Thanh Hoa (Hang Day Stadium).

The remaining match of the round is the confrontation between SHB Da Nang - Cong An Ha Noi (Tam Ky stadium) which will take place on April 7.

VAR technology to assist referees is expected to be deployed at Thong Nhat, Thien Truong, Hang Day and Quy Nhon stadiums. The organizing committee will officially announce the matches using VAR and the live broadcast schedule as soon as possible.

In round 13 of the 2024 - 2025 First Division, all 5 matches will take place on April 6, including: Phu Dong Ninh Binh - Ba Ria Vung Tau; Dong Nai - K.Khanh Hoa; Binh Phuoc - Tre TP.HCM; Dong Thap - Long An; PVF-CAND - Hue.
