Portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

On July 25, at the National Funeral House - No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi), Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) and Lai Da Village Cultural House, Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City, the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the family solemnly held a funeral for comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to the State funeral protocol.

The Organizing Committee of the State Funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said that as of 7:30 p.m. on July 25, 1,565 delegations with about 55,600 people had come to pay their respects, send wreaths, and express condolences to the Party, State, and family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the three funeral locations.
