Saigon Co.op and Quang Tri province sign agreement to purchase agricultural products

On the afternoon of December 11, a delegation of Quang Tri province led by Mr. Le Duc Tien - Vice Chairman of Quang Tri province visited and worked at the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op). The delegation of Quang Tri province included leaders of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade and key enterprises and cooperatives of the province.

On the side of Saigon Co.op, Mr. Le Truong Son - Permanent Deputy General Director along with leaders of departments, units under Saigon Co.op and leaders of Co.opmart Dong Ha supermarket attended the reception of the delegation.

Mr. Le Truong Son - Permanent Deputy General Director - on behalf of SAIGON CO.OP's leaders presented souvenirs to the delegation of Quang Tri province.

Within the framework of the working program, Saigon Co.op signed contracts with 5 enterprises and cooperatives of the province: Quang Tri Trading Corporation, Green Globe Company Limited, Tu Phong Company Limited, Dinh Son Mai Thi Thuy Medicinal Herbs Company Limited, Khe Sanh Agricultural Cooperative.

After the signing ceremony, the products of these companies including cassava starch, rice, pepper, dried banana, green banana powder, peanut oil, sesame oil, green tea extract, Solanum procumbens extract... will quickly appear on the shelves of Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food... nationwide, and at the same time add to the list of products exported by Saigon Co.op to international markets.

The two sides jointly commit to creating favorable conditions for business to be connected quickly and directly; promptly sharing market information, experience in developing distribution channels, and standard information to bring goods into business in Saigon Co.op's distribution systems.
