Reviewing the organization of the Quan The Am Ngu Hanh Son Festival, Da Nang City in 2025

This afternoon (March 14), Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi chaired a meeting to review the organization of the Quan The Am Ngu Hanh Son Festival, Da Nang City in 2025.

According to the report, up to now, the contents have basically been ensured according to the plan, including: Reception - Logistics, Religion; Culture, Sports, Information, Communications and Tourism; Security - Order, Hygiene - Environment and Health. In particular, regarding the implementation of cultural, artistic and sports activities, the art program of Quan The Am Pagoda has been approved; directed the development of art programs at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and the art program to welcome the Festival to ensure quality and suitability; the Department of Culture and Sports organized a scientific seminar on "The influence of Buddhism in the documentary heritage of the Ma Nhai Stele at Ngu Hanh Son"; planned to display and perform Non Nuoc stone carving with booths; Organize the Launching Ceremony of the Olympic Running Day for the Health of the People in 2025, the Walk for Peace Program in 2025. Da Nang Radio and Television Station broadcast the main Ceremony live on March 18, with 20 local stations agreeing to rebroadcast.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi acknowledged and commended the efforts of the members and subcommittees in organizing, actively implementing assigned tasks, ensuring the set progress. Currently, there is not much time left, the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested agencies, units, localities and subcommittees to continue to coordinate closely, promptly report arising cases, so that the Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee can promptly handle them. This year's festival is large-scale, with many activities, it is necessary to strengthen the responsibility and close coordination of all parties, especially to absolutely ensure security and safety, not to let the situation of wandering begging, price gouging, thereby ensuring the Festival takes place solemnly, safely, thoughtfully, economically and effectively.
