Head of the Quang Ninh District Health Department Le Duc Son said that the district has established 16 teams (2 district-level teams and 14 commune-level teams) to conduct food safety inspections at 166 food production and trading establishments, food service establishments, etc. Of the 166 inspected establishments, 5 establishments failed to meet food safety standards. The team has drawn up records of violations and destroyed unsafe products.
Along with the inspection work, the district's interdisciplinary food safety inspection team also focused on propaganda and reminding production facilities, grocery stores, and restaurants to pay attention to food safety and hygiene conditions to ensure the health of consumers.
