Through Ms. Mai's introduction, we went to Ms. Nhan's house. At that time, Ms. Nhan was not at home, but went to her neighbor's house to prepare ingredients to cook porridge to give to the poor. Although it was hard work, the faces of the sisters all had bright smiles, because they had done meaningful work for the community. Ms. Nhan said that there were many difficult circumstances in the locality. Therefore, in 2022, I and the local women and members joined hands to establish the charity porridge program. The program's funding is drawn from scrap collection activities and contributions from cadres, members, women, and philanthropists. On average, each year, the Women's Association of Thach By 1 residential group organizes the cooking of about 8-10 charity porridge pots, to give more than 3,000 portions of porridge to the poor. For those with disabilities, loneliness, and illness, I and the women and members will divide the porridge to each house. Seeing the happy smiles of people in difficult circumstances when enjoying nutritious porridge, I try even harder to play the role of a bridge, spreading meaningful work in the community.

Mrs. Bui Thi Mon (70 years old) is one of the poor households that regularly receives necessities and nutritious porridge from Ms. Nhan. Mrs. Mon suffered a stroke, and her husband and children are often sick, so the family's life is always lacking. Therefore, for Mrs. Mon, the care and sharing of Ms. Nhan and the women's association members and women of Thach By 1 residential group is a source of encouragement and strength for her family to strive to improve their lives.

In addition to implementing the charity porridge program, Ms. Nhan also mobilized members and women to actively donate scrap to raise funds and participate in cleaning and planting trees to protect the environment. From 2020 to now, Ms. Nhan has coordinated with associations and groups to call for and support expenses for nearly 10 cases of illness and accident in the locality. In addition, Ms. Nhan also regularly connects with benefactors to give gifts to students and the poor. Ms. Nhan's work has contributed to sowing the seeds of happiness, making life more and more beautiful.
