On the morning of December 28, 4 days before the engagement ceremony of midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai and hot girl Chu Thanh Huyen, the first wedding photos of the couple were revealed. The player born in 1997 and his other half chose traditional costumes to take wedding photos, which were said to be taken at Phat Quang Pagoda, Ha Nam.
Photographer Linh Le Chi - representative of the production team - said that the midfielder from Dong Anh (Hanoi) and his bride-to-be chose to wear Nhat Binh shirts because they both wanted to promote traditional values of the nation and honor Vietnamese traditional costumes.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, representative of Hoa Nien - Nam Thang Tuoi Dep - the unit that made the costumes for Quang Hai and Chu Thanh Huyen in the wedding photo shoot - revealed that the two Nhat Binh costumes of the bride and groom were recreated from artifacts and photo documents of the costumes of Emperor Bao Dai - Queen Nam Phuong in the 1930s.

Groom Quang Hai's dress is a reconstruction based on the real outfit of former Emperor Bao Dai, worn many times on formal occasions, especially during his royal trip to France in 1939.
The Ao Dai (Five-Pane Sleeve) has a yellow color, embroidered all over the body of the dress with Bat Buu patterns and four-season flowers and grasses, ending the flap with Thuy Ba patterns. The layout of the dress is very special because the patterns are placed in a Hang - Loi pattern, without using a group of patterns (or large patterns surrounded by Bat Buu) but still has the Thuy Ba part to tie the flap splendidly.
The embroidery thread is based on Golden Letters. Due to the bright color of the shirt, the thread color is also simplified, using Thanh - Bach as the main theme and adding red accents to some details to create harmony in the layout. The Kim Sa on the shirt is attached in small, dark colors to be both bright and not flashy.
Bride Thanh Huyen in a special design modeled after the first royal dress of Queen Nam Phuong in her wedding to Emperor Bao Dai in 1934. This special dress is in the Nhat Binh style with the body sewn from woven fabric with flowers and symbols, small and sparse but very elegant when decorated with sequins evenly on the body of the dress to increase the owner's elegance.
The collar is meticulously embroidered with a very special embroidery pattern when compared to other Nhat Binh images from this period. This detail also exists in the original postcard when the collar of His Majesty the King does not include the Loan and Phung patterns but only includes My Tu and flowers that symbolize luck and blessings.
