Promoting tourism in Dien Bien province in Hanoi

The conference to promote and advertise tourism in Dien Bien province contributes to promoting and introducing the beauty of the land, people, culture, history; the potentials, strengths, tourism products and services, typical traditional culture, typical tourist destinations, typical tourism products and services of Dien Bien province in Hanoi.

The conference was held with the desire to strengthen the connection, linkage, and cooperation in tourism development between Dien Bien province and Hanoi city. It created opportunities for tourism businesses and units to promote information exchange, market development; coordinate with travel businesses to build and exploit tours and tourist routes to Dien Bien province and the Northwest region.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province and the Department of Tourism of Hanoi city signed a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation for the period 2024-2026.

Dien Bien province focused on introducing and promoting its potential, strengths, destinations, products, unique and characteristic tourism programs and events. At the program, delegates discussed, shared and proposed solutions for promoting tourism in Dien Bien province in the coming time and the cooperation in tourism development between Dien Bien province and Hanoi city.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang emphasized that Dien Bien has very favorable conditions for attracting investment in developing historical and spiritual tourism products; national cultural identity tourism, exploring natural landscapes; resort tourism, entertainment, and health care. In particular, Dien Bien will host and organize the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province suggested that, in order to cooperate in promoting, promoting, and linking tourism development between Dien Bien province and Hanoi city commensurate with the potential, localities should continue to strengthen cooperation in building unique tourism products, suitable to the needs of tourists; develop connecting infrastructure. Travel agencies, transportation, and tourist accommodation establishments should research and cooperate more closely in building and promoting package tours connecting localities.
