The Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to a report on preparations for organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

Implementing Directive No. 50/CT-TU dated August 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Plan No. 4612/KH-UBND dated November 2, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the Provincial Military Command has closely coordinated with departments, branches and localities to implement according to the plan. Specifically, it has issued a plan and directed agencies and units in the provincial armed forces to organize event propaganda associated with major holidays and important political events; led, directed and successfully organized the Provincial Armed Forces Emulation Congress for Victory and the Provincial Armed Forces Emulation Congress for Victory of affiliated units in the provincial armed forces for the period 2019-2024; Organize competitions, sports events, and contests to celebrate the anniversary of the event organized by all levels, especially hosting the Military Youth Competition with traffic culture organized by the Military Youth Committee, the General Department of Politics; successfully organize sports events for military units located in the province; deploy 100% of agencies and units in the provincial military to proactively advise local Party committees and authorities to build works to celebrate the anniversary, promote propaganda for the event associated with propaganda, dissemination and education of law in the area... In addition, direct agencies and units in the provincial military to effectively implement military policy work, military rear, and mass mobilization work on the occasion of the anniversary of the event; focusing on the following activities: Visiting and giving gifts to policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, soldiers in especially difficult circumstances, and organizing the second phase of mass mobilization work in the whole province.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee for major provincial holidays chaired the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with agencies and units to continue implementing the contents according to the plan, focusing on the service work at the ceremony which will take place on December 18, at the Provincial People's Committee Hall. In particular, urgently coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to unify the organization, prepare wreaths, arrange the positions of service blocks to visit the Martyrs' Cemetery; coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Information and Communications to continue to inspect the deployment of visual propaganda panels on main roads and on LED screens at locations; review the work of sending invitations, develop a plan to welcome delegates from afar to attend the ceremony; coordinate with Ninh Thuan Newspaper and related units to publish a printed newspaper with appropriate content to send to delegates attending the ceremony. Assign the Provincial Police to deploy a plan to ensure security and safety; The Provincial People's Committee Office coordinated, prepared the hall, and coordinated to welcome and serve delegates attending the ceremony to ensure solemnity and thoughtfulness.
