The road from Tam Lu commune to Tam Thanh commune (Quan Son) is more than 10km long. In previous years, this road was only concreted for more than 5km, the rest was dirt road, making travel very difficult, affecting trade. In 2020, with the attention of the State, the road was upgraded with a total investment of nearly 55 billion VND and completed by the end of 2022.

Quan Son focuses on developing transport infrastructure. Many traffic routes in Quan Son district have been invested in construction, renovation and upgrading to serve the local socio-economic development.

Chairman of Tam Thanh Commune People's Committee Ha Van Tung said: This is an important road in the economic development of the commune. With the attention of the State, the road has been upgraded, renovated and repaired to meet the trading needs of the people in the area. Especially, students do not have to wade through mud to go to school. Currently, the inter-village roads of the commune have been hardened at a rate of 90%. This is an important condition to help the socio-economic development of Tam Thanh commune strongly, contributing significantly to the poverty reduction of Quan Son district.

Quan Son currently has more than 610km of roads. In recent times, with the attention of the State, through investment programs and projects, efforts to mobilize local budgets, and contributions from the people, the traffic infrastructure in the district has been built, upgraded, and repaired. Many key routes have been invested in upgrading and repairing such as: the road from Hieng village to Sa Na village (Na Meo); the road from Na Au village to Cha Lung village (Tam Thanh); upgrading and renovating the road from Son Lu commune to Tam Lu commune; connecting the road from Trung Thuong commune to Son Lu commune; the road from National Highway 217 to Sua village, Son Dien commune; the road from Son Ha commune to Tam Lu commune; the inter-commune road from Tam Lu to Tam Thanh... According to the report of the People's Committee of Quan Son district, from 2021 to now, the district has implemented 21 projects in the field of traffic with a total investment of 423 billion VND. Up to now, the rate of hardening rural roads in the whole district has reached 74%; the rate of asphalted or concreted communal and inter-communal roads has reached 66%; the rate of hardened village and hamlet roads has reached 88.5%... Investing and putting into use important traffic routes creates favorable conditions for the district to develop its economy and attract investment in the area, exploiting the potential for industrial development, tourism, trade and services of Quan Son district.

In fact, it is known that in order to gradually solidify the traffic infrastructure, Quan Son district has mobilized maximum resources, effectively integrating capital sources to invest in traffic development. Actively directing functional departments and offices to focus on quickly resolving administrative procedures related to compensation, site clearance, and land acquisition. In addition, communes and towns have stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to create the best conditions for the implementation of construction works to complete on schedule.

Talking to us, Head of the Economic Infrastructure Department of Quan Son district, Pham Ba Chien, said: Determining that developing transport infrastructure is a lever to promote socio-economic development, in recent years, Quan Son district has focused all resources on investing in building new, repairing and upgrading the road system. Thanks to that, the rural transport network has been expanded, solidified, creating a solid momentum for implementing the new rural construction program. Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, Quan Son district will continue to promote propaganda work to the majority of people about the significance of building a road system, voluntarily donating land to expand the road surface. Mobilize all resources to the maximum, effectively integrate capital sources to invest in developing rural transport in the area. Carry out the work of laying out routes, setting up markers for site clearance, and road safety corridor markers for district and commune routes. In particular, based on the investment plan to renovate and upgrade the transport system, proactively create land funds for transport development projects; encourage and mobilize people to donate land and assets on land to expand the road surface.
