Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa aims to build a green, modern banking model.

To materialize the goal of building a green banking model, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa has focused on implementing green credit growth. The focus is on prioritizing credit capital for green projects, environmentally friendly projects, clean agriculture, and high-tech agriculture.

Starting a high-tech agricultural production business, as soon as he learned about the green credit source that Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa is implementing, Mr. Hoang Van Tuan in Xuan Du commune (Nhu Thanh) contacted and was lent 300 million VND by Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa to develop a clean grape growing model according to VietGAP standards. The low-interest loan has helped him invest in buying seedlings, installing a greenhouse system, and drip irrigation. Up to now, the farm has 2,300 grape trees, yielding hundreds of millions of VND each year.

Currently, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa is investing capital in hundreds of clean agricultural and high-tech agricultural projects, contributing to promoting the economic restructuring of the locality. Projects have access to capital with interest rates 0.5 to 1.5% lower than the lending interest rates for other production and business sectors.

Along with green credit growth, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa also implemented many activities to build a modern bank with many unique cultural features. Recently, in response to "Agribank Cultural Week 2025", the bank organized many meaningful events. Among them, the program "Community Bookshelf - Spreading knowledge, connecting love" received positive responses from many people. With the humane message "Whoever needs it, take it - Whoever has it, give it", at the program, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa presented a set of AI books to customers, officers and employees of the entire branch. Through this set of books, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa hopes to support the staff and employees to access new knowledge and improve their professional capacity.

Also within the framework of the program, officers and employees in the entire branch donated 46 million VND and donated books worth 34 million VND to build 9 community bookcases. Community bookcases and forms of reading culture applying digital technology are being deployed by Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa as activities to develop and implement corporate culture associated with building the image and brand of Agribank, making the reading movement a habit, promoting reading culture in the digital age, enhancing the effectiveness of internal communication associated with political and ideological work and building Agribank culture.

Along with that, Agriabank Nam Thanh Hoa is currently implementing the "Green Transaction Point" movement. This is an activity to motivate affiliated branches to work towards an environmentally friendly digital banking model and sustainable development. The bank has also implemented many programs and activities associated with the message "For a green future" such as: "Say no to plastic waste", "Preserve a green, clean and beautiful working environment", "Join hands to clean up the marine environment", and give away trees. Thereby, raising awareness among officers, employees, workers and local people in environmental protection and combating climate change. At the same time, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa is also focusing on digitizing banking activities, providing electronic banking products and services, forming people's consumption habits, green shopping, and cashless payments.

Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa is also actively participating in the “Agribank Moments” Photo Contest, which will be held from March 17, 2025. The contest is a meaningful playground for staff and employees throughout the system, aiming to capture authentic and emotional images of Agribank’s journey of innovation and development. The contest is not only an opportunity to preserve memorable moments, but also to spread good values, reflecting Agribank’s pioneering spirit, innovation and social responsibility.
