Bac Tu Liem District promotes the spirit of national solidarity

Kinhtedothi - On the afternoon of November 8, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet attended the National Great Unity Day at Xuan Loc 1 Residential Group, Xuan Dinh Ward, Bac Tu Liem District.

At the festival, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Front Work Committee of Xuan Loc 1 Residential Group Nguyen Kim Bang reviewed the tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

Over the past 94 years, consistently implementing the strategy of great national unity, especially during more than 35 years of renovation, the National United Front, now the Vietnam Fatherland Front, has creatively applied Ho Chi Minh's thought on great national unity in accordance with the situation, requirements and tasks of the revolutionary cause.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front is always proud to affirm its leading role and position in emulation movements and campaigns, creatively applying lessons learned in gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc. The Vietnam Fatherland Front mobilizes all classes of people to join hands and unite, step by step overcome difficulties, stabilize life, and build and develop the country.

Over the years, under the leadership of the Party Cell, the Front Committee of Xuan Loc 1 Residential Area and the mass organizations have successfully completed the assigned tasks. The Residential Area staff has sufficient qualities, ethics, capacity, enthusiasm and responsibility, always united in carrying out the tasks.

The Front's working committee has promoted, mobilized and maintained the model of "civilized - safe - self-managed residential groups" well; effectively implemented the movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"... 100% of households committed to building residential groups that are "bright - green - clean, beautiful and civilized, safe - self-managed"; 593/615 households registered as cultural families.

In 2024, the residential area has 590 households achieving the title of "Cultural Family" (95.9%), the residential area achieving the title of "Cultural Residential Area". Support for the Fund "For Vietnam's Seas and Islands" reached 6 million VND; support for flood victims affected by storm No. 3 reached nearly 53 million VND and many necessities of the Fund "For the Poor" reached over 13 million VND.

TDP mobilized people to support over 10 million VND to install 8 security cameras; install 22 new public fire stations worth over 10 million VND.

Presenting congratulatory flowers and giving a speech to encourage the people of Xuan Loc 1 Residential Area at the Great Unity Festival, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee Hoang Trong Quyet expressed his joy at the achievements in building cultural life and implementing patriotic emulation movements that the cadres and people of the Residential Area 1 achieved last year.

Secretary of Bac Tu Liem District Party Committee Luu Ngoc Ha and district leaders presented flowers to congratulate and encourage the people of Xuan Loc 1 Residential Group, Xuan Dinh Ward.

The Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee also expressed his hope that the leaders of Xuan Dinh ward and Bac Tu Liem district would continue to pay attention and listen to the people's thoughts and aspirations to thoroughly resolve the people's petitions in a timely manner.

After the Great Unity Day, the district will synthesize the opinions, suggestions and recommendations of the local people to plan and develop solutions.
