At the workshop, delegates affirmed the important historical, cultural and scientific values as well as the stature, role and position of the locations related to the Nguyen Lords' palace on Trieu Phong land in the Nguyen Lords' career of expanding the territory to the South to form the complete territory and territorial waters of Vietnam as it is today.

Associate Professor, Doctor Do Bang, Vice President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association, affirmed that the opening of the lands of Dinh Ai Tu, Dinh Bat and Dinh Cat in Quang Tri was the great vision of Lord Nguyen for the development of Dang Trong. From Trieu Phong land, the Nguyen Lords not only started the journey of opening up the land but also started the active open-door policy, trading with many countries in the East and the West, giving birth to the "international trade center" Hoi An. The role of the Nguyen Lords' palaces in Trieu Phong not only started the career of the Nguyen Lords and Kings, but also oriented the development in the trend of the country opening up the land, protecting sovereignty along with the open-door policy of developing foreign trade of the maritime era combined with global goods. The Nguyen Lords were successful and the land of Trieu Phong, Quang Tri successfully completed the mission of the nation, the place marking the first government in the journey of opening up the land. Therefore, it is necessary to soon restore, honor and develop tourism for the Nguyen Lord Relic Site.
According to the Vice President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association, it is necessary to build a heritage tourism route of Lord Nguyen from Thanh Hoa (the birthplace of the Nguyen Dynasty), Quang Tri to Thua Thien Hue (with the Lord's palace and the Lords' tombs), taking Trieu Phong as the center, because this is the first palace of Lord Nguyen and the starting point of the journey to open up the territory. At the same time, build an intra-provincial tour: The system of capitals, capitals, and capitals of Vietnamese States on Quang Tri land according to the historical period, including: The Nguyen Lord's palaces in Trieu Phong during the Nguyen Lord's reign; Tan So - the patriotic capital of the Nguyen Dynasty that started the Can Vuong movement; Cam Lo - the capital of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam (1973-1975).
Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam said: The project of Planning for preservation, renovation, restoration and promotion of the value of the national historical relic "Places related to Lord Nguyen's palace (1558 - 1626)" is being submitted to the competent authority for approval and announcement on the occasion of the 465th anniversary of Doan Quan Cong Nguyen Hoang's establishment on Trieu Phong land. Comrade Hoang Nam suggested that Trieu Phong district promptly announce the planning of Nguyen Hoang relic; step up communication and promotion among the people and society about the historical values and contributions of Lord Tien Nguyen Hoang in the historical process of the nation, especially the contribution of opening up the land. The relevant agencies conduct comprehensive archaeological excavations, on a large scale at Lord Nguyen's palace; focus on collecting documents, materials, and artifacts to serve research, display, and introduction of Lord Tien Nguyen Hoang. In the immediate future, the locality needs to carry out zoning for protection, setting up boundary markers, issuing certificates of land use rights for relics, prioritizing the mobilization of social resources and budget sources to invest in a number of projects such as Nguyen Hoang temple to honor, show gratitude, commemorate, and celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of Lord Nguyen Hoang (1525 - 2025).
