Phu Yen issues new prices for medical examination and treatment services

Accordingly, the People's Council of Phu Yen province issued a resolution regulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services at 6 general and specialized hospitals at the provincial level; 9 medical centers at the district and town levels (including regional general clinics and commune-level medical stations) and 3 specialized centers and stations.

Phu Yen Provincial People's Council held the 24th session (special session) to pass 7 resolutions.

Specifically, the medical examination and treatment fee of a grade 1 hospital is 50,600 VND; a grade 2 hospital is 45,000 VND; a grade 3 hospital is 39,800 VND; a grade 4 hospital and a commune, ward or town health station is 36,500 VND.

The price of a day of internal medicine bed service at a grade 1 hospital for intensive care treatment is 928,100 VND; a day of emergency care bed service is 558,600 VND. The price of a day of bed service at a commune, ward or town health station is 78,100 VND...

For patients who are being treated at medical examination and treatment facilities before the effective date of this resolution and are discharged from the hospital or finish their outpatient treatment after the effective date of the resolution, the price of medical examination and treatment services according to the regulations of the competent authority before the implementation of the price prescribed in this resolution will continue to be applied until they are discharged from the hospital or finish their outpatient treatment...

This resolution also aims to ensure legal revenue sources, contribute to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services, and enhance the level of autonomy in regular spending of public health service units in the province.
