Recently, the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union announced the list of 63 "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers" in 2024, including Mr. Le Manh Cuong (born in 1983), Zone 6, Dong Trung Commune, Thanh Thuy District, from Phu Tho province.
Mr. Cuong is currently developing a comprehensive farm economic model including: 5 hectares of timber trees, 5 hectares of grapefruit, 2 hectares of fish farming; 3,500 spiny soft-shell turtles; 600 breeding sows, 20,000 date palm trees...
The average total revenue reaches 40 billion VND/year, creating jobs for 40 regular workers and 20 seasonal workers with an average salary of 8-10 million VND/person/month. The farm's products are productive, of good quality, and trusted by the market.

The ceremony to honor and award the title to 63 "Outstanding Vietnamese Farmers" is one of a series of events in the 2024 Vietnamese Farmers' Pride Program, scheduled to take place in mid-October on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024) to encourage, motivate, and spread examples of dynamic and creative farmers in economic development; daring to think and act, exploiting and effectively using capital, labor, and land resources, boldly applying science, technology, and new technologies to production, making many contributions to the movement of building new rural areas and protecting national security.
