According to medical experts, patients after being bitten by a red-tailed green pit viper usually only have pain in the wound, and are still conscious, so they should be subjective. However, after about 6 to 12 hours, the places bitten by the snake begin to swell and become edematous. If not treated promptly, the patient will soon have a blood clotting disorder, severe bleeding and can lead to death. Therefore, when bitten by a red-tailed green pit viper, the patient should go to the hospital immediately for emergency care and treatment.
