Since night, parents have been lining up at the gate of Van Bao Primary School waiting for the gate to open to submit applications.

This year, the school was assigned a target of enrolling 200 students in grade 1. The admission requirements are that students have permanent or temporary residence in the district, have sufficient capacity, intelligence, and motivation to study the school's advanced supplementary programs.

This school does not organize exams, only enrolls first grade students based on the principle of reviewing application documents in order, with submission time from 1 to 200. The school begins accepting applications from 8:00 a.m. on June 13 to June 18.

The enrollment quota of Van Bao Primary School is small, but the demand from parents in the district is large, leading to a situation where families line up from night to get a place to register to apply to the school.

"There is no shortage of places for first graders or overload in the district. Around Van Bao Primary School, there are many top schools with good quality such as Van Phuc Primary School, An Hung Primary School, Tran Phu Primary School... parents can be completely assured about places to study, no need to worry about shortage", the Head of the Department of Education and Training reminded parents.

On the morning of June 13, the line of parents waiting to submit their applications at the gate of Van Bao Primary School grew even larger.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh (Van Quan, Ha Dong, Hanoi) said that last night, when he just got home from work, he received information that many parents were lining up at the gate of Van Bao Primary School to submit their children's applications for first grade. He and his wife also quickly went to reserve seats. When they arrived at the school gate, there were already more than 100 parents waiting, waiting in line.

Mr. Duc Anh's eldest child is studying in grade 3 at Van Bao Primary School. The parent rated the quality of teaching at the school as good, on par with some high-quality schools with a long history in the city, so the family decided to "win" a place for their second son to study here.

He and his wife took advantage of sending their child to their grandparents' house to line up in front of the school gate from last night until this morning and still persisted.
