On the morning of May 20, at the People's Committee of Ngoc Son commune, Kim Bang district, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Employment Service Center to organize a job fair for people who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their localities to reintegrate into the community.
This is the third job fair for those who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their locality to reintegrate into the community. Through two job fairs organized for these individuals in Phu Ly city and Thanh Liem district, 75 people were hired by 17 businesses with stable salaries, suitable for their skills.
Speaking at the job fair, the representative of the Department of Police for Temporary Detention, Temporary Detention and Execution of Criminal Sentences in the Community, Ministry of Public Security - Colonel Nguyen Van Long, Deputy Director of the Department highly appreciated the good and creative way of Ha Nam in conducting job fairs for people who have completed their prison sentences and returned to the community. This is a fundamental solution, both humane in implementing the lenient policies of our Party and State, and creating a livelihood, stabilizing life, guiding people who have made mistakes back to a more positive life. Ha Nam is the first province in the country to implement this model, the results from previous fairs show that it needs to be replicated in many other localities in the country.
In order for those who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their locality to reintegrate into the community to be present at the transaction session to find suitable jobs, the Provincial Employment Service Center invited 6 businesses that need to recruit for positions in electronic component manufacturing, garment manufacturing, security, etc. to participate in direct recruitment. Among these, there are businesses that need to recruit up to 2,000 workers with a basic salary of 4.5 to 15 million VND/person/month. In addition, the Center also invited Hanoi International College to participate in the transaction session to display products of training facilities that provide vocational training for workers to meet market needs such as food processing, beauty, beverage processing, baking techniques, etc.
The job fair attracted more workers in need of jobs in Kim Bang district to come for consultation and recruitment. 120 people were introduced to jobs at the fair. 11 businesses participated in direct and indirect recruitment through this fair.
At the job fair for those who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their locality to reintegrate into the community in Kim Bang district, the Department of Police for Temporary Detention, Temporary Detention and Execution of Criminal Sentences in the Community, Ministry of Public Security (C11) presented 15 bicycles to those in particularly difficult circumstances; the Provincial Police presented 30 motorbike helmets to 30 outstanding workers; the Kim Bang District Police presented 10 gifts to 10 particularly difficult subjects in the area.
