This morning (November 10), Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended the National Great Unity Day 2024 in Ia Nueng village (Bien Ho commune, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province).
Attending the festival with the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister were Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee Hau A Lenh; leaders and representatives of a number of central ministries and branches and leaders of Gia Lai province.
For many years now, organizing the National Great Unity Day in residential areas on the occasion of the annual anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18) has become a beautiful tradition, bringing the Front's work back to the community, towards each family and each person.
Through the Festival, we aim to strengthen the strength of national unity, build, consolidate and promote people's mastery and enhance the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period.
The results of the Festival bring spiritual values, enrich revolutionary will, honor community strength, contribute to the successful implementation of political tasks, and socio-economic development from each residential area.
Celebrating the 94th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), this year's National Great Unity Day has even greater significance as our entire people and army are uniting, joining hands, striving to compete to achieve achievements to welcome the success of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025.
Expressing his joy and excitement about attending the National Great Unity Day in Ia Nueng village, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent warm greetings, sincere greetings and best wishes to the delegates attending the festival and all the people of Ia Nueng village; at the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive results in socio-economic development that the cadres and people of Ia Nueng village have achieved in recent times.

At the same time, continue to effectively organize patriotic emulation movements; mobilize resources from the community to care for and help people in difficult circumstances; promote the spirit of mutual love, sharing, helping each other, together overcoming difficulties and rising up in life.
Strengthening propaganda and mobilizing people to effectively implement socio-economic development programs in the area; maintaining and promoting traditional occupations as well as cultural identities of the people; improving the quality of mobilizing people to participate in building new rural areas, building cultural families, and new cultural life; maintaining political security and social order in the area;...

Here, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and leaders and representatives of central agencies and leaders of Gia Lai province presented gifts to officials and people of Ia Nueng village.
Over the past time, the cadres and people of Ia Nueng village have always promoted the spirit of solidarity and unity, together overcoming all difficulties to complete the local socio-economic development targets; the material and spiritual life of the villagers has been increasingly improved, the rate of poor and near-poor households has decreased every year; up to now, the village has no more poor households, only 4 near-poor households, the rate of near-poor households has decreased by 50% compared to 2023.
Propaganda and mobilization work for ethnic minorities has been focused on, thereby gradually raising awareness to change thinking and ways of doing things, gradually eliminating backward customs and practices; strengthening the dissemination of knowledge and methods of applying science and technology to people to serve production, cultivation, and animal husbandry; many households in the village have known how to apply scientific and technological achievements in production, rising to become rich and well-off households.
The roads in the village, the cultural house, the sports area... are regularly cleaned, ensuring a green, clean and beautiful environment. The village always maintains political security, social order and safety, the villagers always comply with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws; raise the spirit of vigilance, ready to denounce crimes.
Currently, Ia Nueng village has 1 Party cell with 15 party members (including 6 local party members), Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with 40 members, Women's Association with 184 members, Farmers' Association with 185 members, Veterans' Association with 5 members... The village has achieved the model new rural standard in 2019.

The Wild Sunflower - Chu Dang Ya 2024 Dance Art Program is one of the typical activities within the framework of the Wild Sunflower - Chu Dang Ya Volcano Week 2024 taking place in Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province from November 6-12.
Through the Wild Sunflower Week - Chu Dang Ya Volcano in 2024, Gia Lai province wishes to continue to introduce to tourists the image of wild sunflowers associated with Chu Dang Ya Volcano, which has been voted by the Vietnam Record Organization Vietking as one of the top 10 most attractive destinations in Gia Lai. In particular, Chu Dang Ya is recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful craters in the world by the British magazine (2018).
