Expressway projects through Hau Giang strive to achieve and exceed schedule

Hau Giang province is implementing two key transport projects. Specifically, the North-South expressway in the East phase 2021-2025, Can Tho-Ca Mau section (Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway), has a length of more than 110km. The total investment is more than 27,500 billion VND, started in January 2023, expected to be completed in 2025. The project through Hau Giang has a length of more than 63km.

And the component project 3 of Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang expressway, with a length of nearly 37km. The total investment is more than 9,601 billion VND, invested by the Department of Transport of Hau Giang province.

According to the Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, recently, the provincial leaders have directed relevant departments, branches and districts and towns where the project passes to promptly coordinate to resolve difficulties and problems during the project implementation process.

"Whatever is within the province's responsibility, we will fully and promptly carry out," emphasized the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province.

For the project construction units, the head of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee requested effective implementation in accordance with the commitments.

In particular, review and develop a specific, clear and detailed project construction plan that closely follows the project completion schedule as directed by the Prime Minister, resolutely implement the project, and strive to meet or exceed the set schedule.

Construction of component project 3 through Hau Giang.

"Contractors must uphold their sense of responsibility, stay on site, and resolve problems right at the site. During the construction process, if there are any difficulties or problems, they must coordinate with the local authorities to promptly resolve them. If they are beyond their authority, they must report to the Provincial People's Committee or contact the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directly for timely resolution," said the Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee.

According to Truong Son Construction Corporation, in the two above mentioned projects, the unit undertakes the construction of 5 packages. The total value is more than 10,450 billion VND.

Carrying out the peak emulation campaign "Speed ​​- Victory" from March 10 to May 31, the contractor set goals, in which, for the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway project, the unit strives to complete the main route embankment before March 15.

For component project 3 alone, the contractor completed the installation of cumulative girders of 11 bridges, completed the reinforced concrete decks of 10/12 bridges; completed the bridgehead road to the crushed stone layer, ensuring traffic on the river-crossing bridges...
