At the survey on March 11, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh acknowledged the efforts of Ho Chi Minh City and localities in implementing the Ring Road 3 project, and difficulties and obstacles will be studied and resolved.

“This is a key project, of great significance, for the development of the regional economy. Therefore, it is necessary to be decisive, mobilize forces, machinery, and maximize human resources. The investor needs to acknowledge the working spirit, focus on determination, and discuss the progress to ensure the quality of the project" - Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh directed.

According to the My Thuan Project Management Board (investor of component project 1A of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3), the investor and contractor are currently actively speeding up the progress of component project 1A, especially the Nhon Trach bridge. Specifically, the project progress has reached 87.18%, of which the Nhon Trach bridge construction package has reached 94.55% and the approach road construction package has reached 76.13%.

Component 1A plays an important role in shortening the distance from Ho Chi Minh City - Dong Nai to Long Thanh International Airport. This project is expected to be completed by June 30, helping to reduce the load on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, contributing to remote traffic flow, reducing congestion on expressways as well as the inner-city road system of Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, the investor and contractors are making efforts and committing to compete to speed up the progress within 60 days to complete the entire Nhon Trach bridge, basically paving the asphalt concrete section of the approach road before April 26 and technically opening the entire 8.22 km route of component project 1A on April 27.
