"On average, every month there are many tourists coming to An Thuong tourist street to have fun, shop, and entertain... We hope the city will continue to implement phase 2 of An Thuong tourist street to continue serving tourists better," Mr. Hoa shared.

As planned, phase 2 will be implemented from Le Quang Dao Street to Mai Thuc Lan Street (in late 2024, early 2025). In addition to infrastructure investment, phase 2 will also have a central square to organize events to serve residents and tourists...

Directly inspecting An Thuong tourist street on March 27, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong noted that the locality needs to carefully assess the current status of the existing streets, what has been done and what has not been done before investing in the next phase.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, after the pilot period, the locality needs to collect evaluation forms from business households on the street. Investing in product creation is not difficult, the important thing is to evaluate the quality, business efficiency, and effectiveness in attracting customers. At the same time, collect opinions from business households to see if those who directly do business have any comments or suggestions for solutions, thereby absorbing and perfecting during the implementation process.

"Listening to people's opinions to grasp the actual situation is very necessary because we build and develop products based on the actual needs of tourists, we must create attraction so that tourists will come by themselves," Mr. Tran Chi Cuong emphasized.

Mr. Cuong also said that on some streets such as Chau Thi Vinh Te, there are already households providing food and beverage services. To create tourist streets to attract visitors, the locality should base on that foundation to develop, calculate, arrange, and divide traffic appropriately.

In the fence area surrounding the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts (Le Quang Dao Street), it is expected to renew the fence by building reliefs and painting murals alternately. In which, the paintings mainly depict the beautiful scenery of Da Nang city, the reliefs recreate typical architectural works of Vietnam on cement material; creating check-in spaces for people and tourists.

It is known that the An Thuong Tourist Area project, with an implementation roadmap from 2019 to 2025, is divided into 3 phases with investment activities to upgrade service infrastructure and urban infrastructure to serve tourism activities.
