BTO - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, this afternoon (January 14), the National Assembly delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, visited, presented gifts, and wished a happy new year to families with meritorious services, the poor, workers, disadvantaged laborers, and armed forces soldiers in difficult circumstances in Binh Thuan province.
Joining the delegation from Binh Thuan province were comrades: Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and leaders of relevant agencies of the province.
The Vice President of the National Assembly and his delegation visited and wished the veteran revolutionary Huynh Sanh Chau (Huy So) a Happy New Year. Vice President of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh kindly asked about his health, encouraged him and expressed her joy when she learned that Huynh Sanh Chau is nearly 100 years old this year but is still clear-minded and healthy. Visiting and wishing Vietnamese Heroic Mother Luong Thi Con in Phong Nam Commune, Phan Thiet City a Happy New Year, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly kindly asked about her health and living conditions; and expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for her sacrifices and contributions to the homeland and the country. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that the locality and family will continue to care for her. Next, the Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly and the delegation visited, wished a happy new year and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command. After listening to the unit's leaders report on the implementation of tasks in 2024; the unit's preparations for the spring festival and Tet, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Military Command in 2024. Emphasizing the tasks in the coming time, the Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly said that 2025 will have many important events, this is also the year the entire political system must join hands and unite to carry out the "revolution" in institutional reform, in streamlining the apparatus, in promoting digital transformation, innovation, creativity... to create the foundation and premise for our country to enter a new era, the era of national development. Therefore, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh hopes that officers and soldiers of the Binh Thuan Provincial Military Command must continue to unite, strive to overcome all difficulties, constantly improve the quality of work, maintain political security, social order and safety, and contribute to the locality's successful implementation of socio-economic development goals.
On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year of At Ty, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh sent her best wishes for health, happiness and success to the officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Binh Thuan province. Wishing the officers and soldiers a joyful and warm spring, always ready to excellently complete all tasks, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, State and people. At the same time, "Happy New Year but do not forget the task", continue to raise vigilance, step up the fight against crime; ensure security, social order and safety for the people, especially being on duty and ready to fight during the traditional Lunar New Year, maintain good security, social order and safety, firmly protect the sovereignty of the territory and national border security.
On the same afternoon, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh and her delegation visited and presented gifts to workers, policy families, and the poor in Ham Thuan Bac district. Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh highly appreciated the achievements of Ham Thuan Bac district in the past year, and affirmed that the National Assembly always pays special attention to taking better care of people's lives. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh sent her best wishes to every citizen of Ham Thuan Bac district in particular and the whole Binh Thuan province in general.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly hopes that the people of Ham Thuan Bac district will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, join hands, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and the desire for development; actively compete in labor and production; and join hands with the government to build Binh Thuan homeland to become increasingly prosperous and civilized. The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested that Binh Thuan province continue to pay attention to and take care of the people's lives, especially families with preferential policies, poor households, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and people in remote areas. This not only demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support, but also strengthens the people's trust in the leadership of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and local authorities.
On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, on behalf of the Party and State, presented 400 gifts to officers, soldiers and people of Binh Thuan province. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh also presented an additional VND 300,000,000 to policy families and poor households in Binh Thuan province from the support fund of the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
